Pollination is basically and fundamentally the procedure named for the transferring of pollen from the male part of the flower, which is the anther over to the stigma, which is the female part of the flower. Upon doing this transfer it allows and helps the plants to form their seed, nut, or fruit.
There are many ways that the pollination of plants can occur and can happen by simply relying on the wind to assist in this process or other cases the pollen is transferred by animals, such as bats, moths, hummingbirds, ants, beetles and butterflies.
One of the most common pollinators that people think of most is the bee. In fact it’s said that Bees are responsible for the pollination process of up to one-sixth of the flowering (Blossoming) plant species across the world.
This Black and white photograph shows us one bee species as there’re approximately around 25,000 different types of Bees worldwide, close to 4,000 in north america alone.

I've been told that I can't tell a short story, so I have decided to let the lens speak for me instead. Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Canada I was fortunate to grow up near the Rockies. This gave me an appreciation of the land and inspired me to capture this emotion to share with others. Through my travels and experiences, I've come to appreciate the beauty of many different subjects. The wild, colourful, living or inanimate object, all have their beauty. My wish is to share their stories with you. JRC (Jor Cop)
