In this photograph it shows us two leaves resting together upon the branch of a pine tree. Whether it be a photo of two leaves or a single leaf that has fallen to the ground, or perhaps it finds itself resting on the branch of another tree or bush that has caught it in midstream on its trip to the earth's floor.
Come autumn, one can find many deciduous trees and shrubs starting to lose their leaves. A way to tell that this process is about to begin, the leaves will start to change colour while still upon the plant. As the weather gets colder and winter grows nearer, the leaves begin to lose their grip on the branch that once gave them the function of photosynthesis and gas exchange that regulates the carbon dioxide and oxygen with in the earths atmosphere, that all living things breathe. Leaves that grow and come in many different shapes and sizes will grow back in the spring, looking forward to a summer’s growth.

I've been told that I can't tell a short story, so I have decided to let the lens speak for me instead. Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Canada I was fortunate to grow up near the Rockies. This gave me an appreciation of the land and inspired me to capture this emotion to share with others. Through my travels and experiences, I've come to appreciate the beauty of many different subjects. The wild, colourful, living or inanimate object, all have their beauty. My wish is to share their stories with you. JRC (Jor Cop)

Lovely series, Jor!
Jor Cop Images replied:
Thank You very much Sarah. I noticed a contest last week regarding "One Leaf" photographs and decided to see what I had and found that I had been taking photos of single leaves and really didn't realize it.. Thanks again for your wonderful comments, they're very much appreciated. Take care.
